Welcome to Candor Township

Welcome to the Candor Township website. We are located in the north-central part of Otter Tail County in Minnesota. We have a mixture of lakes and wooded areas in our township. Great place for a vacation or an afternoon drive. Located south of Detroit Lakes and northwest of Vergas, MN.

As a Township our major responsibility is to maintain our roads for the safety of our citizens and visitors. Candor Township is also part owner of our local fire and rescue department. Along with that comes the responsibility of making sure we are supportive of our local volunteers.
